    NAUTILUS NV reels add a new meaning to All-Pro. With just three of these reels, and as many spare spools, you'd be able to fish for any species - do so for a lifetime, and when your fishing days are over with, you can pass them onto a friend or family member. They'll enjoy them for a new lifetime, and here's why: NV reels feature titanium drag shafts - loaded with the latest technology in high performance ceramic micro bearings, and ceramics and titanium are impervious to the elements. Using titanium and ceramics has allowed NAUTILUS to downsize components, increase the drag surface by over 75%, and still decrease the overall weight without sacrificing the fighting class qualities.     Nautilus FWX Series

    The FWX replaces the FW Series reels, and these reels now boast being the lightest machined aluminum disc drag fly reels in the marketplace. The new Giga arbor adds faster line pick up and quicker drying. Our staff really likes the TORQ-X technology: stainless steel 1-way clutch drive that ensures instant drag engagement with no slack, allowing the retrieve direction to be easily switched, and we have converted the new reels to be push on and click tab release. Finally, one of our newest creations to come out of the Nautilus think-tank is an industry first LaserID™ line identification system: We have laser etched a white spot on the back of each FWX spool so that you may write the line type and weight that you are using on that spool. Write it on with a permanent marker and wipe it off with alcohol when changing lines. Also good to use to write your name or phone number in case you lose the reel. No more washed out or lost line stickers!

    Nautilus provides several Custom Options: Custom color reels and spools, personalized name engraving, hook holder, external backing markers, drag knob dials, custom parts anodizing (colors) and big game handles. All moderately priced, these added value features even include The Fly Shop of Miami/Fort Lauderdale's own Jorge Martinez' engravings (tailing bonefish, permit or redfish and others).
